This week's meeting includes a presentation by Tina Mandella of the Lake Stevens Community Resource Center. The LSCRC is a one-stop hub of services for people in need. From help with basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter, to assistance with other kinds of resources and programs.

This is THE Big Weekend! Our Building a Better Community Together Auction is Saturday evening. It's not too late to get tickets. Click this link and we'll see you there!!!

The Board Meeting is next Wednesday at Sherwood Community Services, 5:30 pm. All members are encourage to attend.

Rotary Chili Cook Off Winners

A fun event at the Everett Marina hosted by Reshal Ploeger with a waterfront view, the Seahawks vs Rams game and lots of participants. Winners of the Chili Cook Off were Jim Haugen, Brian Rewis and Dawn Steinruck. Fierce competition with over 9 + chili's to choose from courtesy of our Lake Stevens Rotary members.

Tracy Rubstello from Bridge Receiving Center presented a copy of Stories of Hope published by Bridge Receiving to Khara Turner and President Ron Rasmussen. Tracy gave and overview of the book and an update on Bridge Receiving.

Harvest Fest and Fred the Dragon

A big favorite accompanying our Rotary booth is our honorary member Fred the Dragon. Lots of kids photos with Fred the Dragon and tons of candy given away during this Halloween evening event celebration from 3pm-7pm. The booth and all of the decorations are courtesy of Reshal Ploeger, Brian Rewis, Khara Turner, Jim Haugen. Laurie and Mike Westover provided Fred the Dragon.

Interact is a service club for youth ages 14-18. The name is a combination of the words international and action. We join Clubs in over 120 countries around the world. The global youth network is dedicated to community and international service. Every Interact Club project, great or small, has a lasting impact on society worldwide.

Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center lower level Community Room located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. Click here for the online link . There will not be any breakfast served. However, coffee will be available. Visitors are always welcome.
