The University of the Fraser Valley began in April of 1974. Since its inception UFV’s dedication to student development is what distinguishes it from the rest. Classes are affordable and interactive, giving their students an education that they can be proud of. With an average class size of 25 students, UFV gives their students the opportunity to engage with their instructors. UFV believes in giving their students a wholistic learning experience, providing them with job opportunities, grants, and the skillset to be successful. Not only is UFV connected with the community but continues to promote a balance between education and physical healthy living. UFV’s focus is on its students and the betterment of the community. The work that they do will have a lasting impact on the community. We had the pleasure of having Sheila Reimer and Sherri Magson with the University of the Fraser Valley share about the tremendous community work that UFV does. The UFV is a shining example of community involvement and continuing education.
