Allan and Les visited the cenotaph in the arboretum with over fifty people attending, paying silent tribute. They placed a wreath on our behalf. The Fraser Blues flew over in formation and our representatives visited with four Afghan veterans.
Our guest speaker was Shannon Todd Booth who reminded Wayne that she (Shannon Douglas) was once a student of his. That was a long time ago. Shannon is now in charge of Communications and Fund Development for Langley Hospice Society, and she shared a power point presentation about the progress in building the new fifteen bed facility.
