Last week was our business meeting and we also congratulated Nanette Sowa on her retirement as the Superintendent of Development at Special Leisure Services Foundation. Our member Cathy Splett has been promoted to take that position. Nanette is a fellow Rotarian and has worked closely with our club over the years for our successful joint golf outings.
The Buffalo Grove Park District invites you to spend an evening in support of National Night Out. Our Rotary Club will have a table there - please see Jing to help out that night. You can sell your Duck tickets too!!
Tuesday, August 6 5 - 7:30 pm - Bill Reid Award Presentation to Rick Drazner's family at approximately 6:45 Willow Stream Park 651 Old Checker Road Admission is free!
Please plan on arriving at Willow Stream Park South, located at 651 Old Checker Road in Buffalo Grove. The Business Expo takes place on the Park's basketball courts at the west end of the park. Plan on arriving by 4:15pm and parking near the courts to unload your car. Once unloaded, your car will have to be moved to make room for the fire department's equipment . There is plenty of street parking along Checker Road. After unloading and moving your car, come see me to check in and I will then direct you to your 8-foot table and 2 chairs which will be set up. It is important that these procedures are followed exactly as there will be a lot of set up going on in many parts of the park when you arrive.
Please connect directly with Deenie if you are able to help at National Night Out.
