Last week our speaker was Pancho Padilla and his topic was his experiences with Rotary cadre projects. His Rotary work in the field has taken him to 76 countries, where he contributes his skills as a self-taught mechanic who can fix just about anything. He described how at first he was a member of his Rotary Club, but it took him three years to become a Rotarian in his heart, so he says that he has been a member of Rotary for 41 years and a “Rotarian” for 38 years. He was a very inspirational Rotarian who has really devoted his life to service above self.

Our Foundation Chair, Tom, is encouraging members who have not as yet made any monetary contribution to our Rotary Foundation. If they contribute $100, he will generously match it. Your donation makes a difference to those who need our help most. More than 90 percent of our donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the world. With your help, we can make lives better in our community and around the world.
