![]() These walks are a wonderful opportunity to explore beautiful trails, get some fresh air, and enjoy fellowship right in our own community; one does NOT need to be a Rotarian - we welcome any adults ages 18 or over who want to join.”
All walks will take place at the truly lovely nature trails at the Thompson-Mazzarella Park in Rhinebeck. Each walk will last about 60-75 minutes, and will incorporate a 5-10 minute ‘mindfulness activity’ led by one of our Mental Health and Wellness Committee members, which may include breathwork, meditation, tai chi, qigong, and/or other experiences designed to promote mindfulness.”
Walkers will meet in the parking lot near the Rhinebeck Town Pool at Thompson-Mazzarella Park - and are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, & tick spray. The walks are free of charge and open to anyone 18 years of age or older. If the forecast calls for rain/snow/sleet/high winds/hail, walkers can assume that the event is canceled.
By participating, walkers agree to release and hold harmless the premises owner, event organizers, and event sponsors, including the Rotary Club, its affiliates, officers, directors, volunteers, agents, employees and representatives, from all liability for any injuries and/or illnesses that may directly or indirectly result from conduct or from the negligence of other participants in the event, and/or from the negligence of the premises owner, event organizers, and event sponsors, including the Rotary Club, its affiliates, officers, directors, volunteers, agents, employees and representatives.
