09 Nov. 2026 Speaker - Eric Spiegel Nov. 09, 2026 12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Eric Spiegel is President of Rhinebeck at Home. He will be sharing some of the new initiatives he is leading at the organization. Eric had a career as CFO of several mid-size firms on Wall Street and in Technology. He lived in rural Columbia County from 2004 until 2022 when he moved to Rhinebeck, where he now lives in The Gardens (and loves it). Beginning in 2000 Eric was instrumental in establishing and building Columbia Kitchen in Columbia County, which quickly became a central element in the social services fabric of the County, now providing 3,000 fresh, healthy and flavorful meals each week to people experiencing food insecurity, including daily meals to every HeadStart child. In 2025 he succeeded Nina Lynch, who had led Rhinebeck at Home since inception, as President.

Hosted at the residence of Dana & Darin Page- 41 Valley Way Rd. in Rhinecliff. This exciting cultural celebration features a highly unique live marimba band—bringing rare, authentic rhythms you wont find anywhere else—alongside festive, colorful cocktails and great company. Tickets are $85, with parking at Fireman’s Field, and every dollar raised goes entirely to fund the Rhinebeck Rotary Interact Club’s international service project to build essential school improvements in Guatemala. 21 Nov. 2026 MUSIC BINGO - Cocktails for Charity (1st session) Nov. 21, 2026 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. As part of our "Cocktails for Charity" series we will be holding a Music Bingo Night at The Grove. There are two sessions, 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM and 7:00PM-8:30PM Date: November 21, 2026 First session: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM Location: The Grove, Restaurant & Bar at Red Hook Golf Club, 650 NY-199, Red Hook Music bingo is easy and fun for groups of any size...grab a game card (or two!), order some drinks and snacks and when the game starts: listen! As each song is played you'll mark it off of your game board. Get 5 in a row and call BINGO! Then we'll move on to other ways to win, like making an X or filling the card. Joining in on the fun is FREE and open to the public, but a suggested donation for each game card is $5, directly benefitting the Rhinebeck Rotary Club. IMPORTANT: please RSVP for your desired time slot so we can prepare the space. The number of guests that you RSVP for will be how many we try to set your table for. 30 Nov. 2026 Speaker: Alaina Evelyn Varvaloucas Nov. 30, 2026 12:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Topic: The Worker Justice Center of New York pursues justice for those denied human rights with a focus on agricultural and other low-wage workers, through legal representation, community empowerment and advocacy for institutional change. I will be discussing our latest class action lawsuit, filed in September 2026, on behalf of 100 workers unlawfully detained in a workplace raid, and how the conditions of the past two years have adversely affected what has already been decades of unmet needs for essential low-wage workers in New York State. Alaina joined WJCNY as Executive Director in 2024. She previously served as the Managing Attorney of the Agricultural Worker Project (AWP), a unit of the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York. At AWP, Alaina represented farmworkers and other low-wage workers on matters such as wage theft, retaliation, unlawful evictions, unsanitary housing, H-2A and H-2B program violations, labor exploitation, organizing, workplace injuries, immigration, and public benefits. Alaina holds a law degree from Yale Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Yale College and has been the recipient of an Equal Justice Works Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship.
