01 Oct. 2026 Set up Light Check at Phenow Pavillion Oct. 01, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Check the lights to be placed on the trees for Saturday, Oct. 10th. We will meet in the Phenow basement to make sure the lights work well. It will take screwing the lights and replacing any bulbs that don't work. Very easy work.
01 Oct. 2026 Buckthorn Pull-West side of Cedar Island Lake Oct. 01, 2026 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Directions from the BP Station on 73^rd and Hemlock, drive west until come to Teakwood Ln N at the freeway wall, elbow left go about two blocks and park, grab your gloves and water bottle and walk down the path about 2 blocks and you will find us on the left side of the trail. I hope with good crew we can finish removing “buckthorn grove”. It’s a great time for a workout in the woods. Please LMK if you are interested in a bite and beverage at my home after the pull. 10 Oct. 2026 Set up lights on skate loop Oct. 10, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We need help putting lights on the trees at the skate loop. It helps to have at least 3 people per tree as a team. If you are able to come out and help even for an hour please come out. If you have any family and friends who would like to help bring them as well. If you also have a light hook for putting lights up please bring it. Please dress for the weather.
