Roger Gignac introduced Marlene Kasper who has been working with people in the community to help them eat better and improve their fitness. He has been working with her and finds that she demands that people exercise and that she is a magnificent expression of co-ordination and enthusiasm.
Marlene thanked Roger for working with her and for inviting her to lunch. She led the Club in an exercise routine before saying that she believed getting fit demanded a complete lifestyle commitment and the establishment of a true body, mind and spirit connection.
She has been working for 30 years at trying to live her life better and to encourage others to join her and is finding her first experience of cable - where you just sit - to be unnerving.
She believes we have to learn to eat and think right - our thoughts generate activity in the body and to be thin thinking thin helps.
Be open to ideas, be a student of life, be in motion and prepared to make change and you will still be active well into the future.
Rotarians are committed to making a difference and should consider making a difference in their own lives - to be healthy. As a nutritionist she analyzea all aspects of an individual and suggests a menu that will help. A dietitian works with medical situations and is guiding a patient to eat for their condition.
Marlene tries to deal with the whole body, not just the symptoms, and to get it in tune by promoting healthy food and complete digestion. A complete program even requires emotional stability as the body, and the mind, move through the changes that ensue.
