Induction - Jen Barry

Sue Cook introduced Jen Barry and her husband Lorne Barry and her son Chris Dumais. For Joyce, Alex Jarlette was pleased to report that Jen had joined the Villa in March and is an enthusiastic and active member of the staff. She has a backgroung in long term care and obviously enjoys the work. She sits on the Seniors Committee and the Hospital Foundation while working at a demanding job as a family liaison to the Villa. Alex welcomed her to the Club.
Sue spoke to the values of Rotary - peace, fellowship, ethical standards, service to the community, international good will and building communities through projects. She declared that as members, we are all trustees of Rotary's ideals and encouraged Jen to be active in working towards those ideals.
Alex presented Jen with her regalia.
Jen thanked the Club for her three months of free lunches and said that her attendance and observations had strengthened her commitment to join. She thinks the Club is an active and fun group of people of good will and she hopes to live up to that standard. She thanked the Club for the Honour of membership.
