Jamie Tripp said he was honoured to welcome three new members to the Midland Rotary Club. They have been reviewed by the Club, found to be eligible and the Club will now proceed to admit them to the fellowship and the obligations of Rotary. They will now represent Rotary to their vocation and the larger community and their vocation to Rotary. All three were presented with their name tags and pins.
Patrick is a Financial Advisor at Scotia Bank and is sponsored by Jim Feheley.
Ron is transferring from Kincardine, where he was recently President and his vocation is Newspaper Management as General Manager of the Mirror.
Oliver will be representing Fiberglass Construction and is sponsored by Fred Hacker.

Fred said Oliver was born on Labour Day in 1978 and spent his first few years in Palgrave, speaking German, so he had an adjustment to make when he went to pre school in Toronto. He graduated from Wilfred Laurier in computers but found he didn't enjoy that as much as he'd thought so joined the family business, Doral boats which has recently relocated to Midland. His interests are his 1975 Eldorado, boats, weight training, boats and snowmobiling.
Oliver said that Rotary had provided him with a scholarship in 1999, for which he was very grateful and this gave him an opportunity to give back to Rotary and to the community.
Ron said he was pleased to join his third Rotary Club (Joyce declared it should be his last) and that he looked forward to working with all the members and the community.
Patrick thanked the Club for its welcome and said he would do his best to represent the Club to the Community.
President Elect Doug gave a brief power point presentation highlighting the structure of Rotary, many of its accomplishments and some of its obligations. He suggested to the new members, and to the existing ones, that this is your club - get involved and enjoy serving. Many Hearts, Many Hands, Many Minds.
