Allison Durtnall introduced Janice who has come to Rotary via a slightly different route.  It was when her daughter, Marissa, was being interviewed as a prospective exchange student that Janice became more aware of Rotary and its many activities.
Janice is an HR consultant and is so keen to get active in the Club that she has already agreed to direct RYLA activities.

Jamie Hunter said that it was always a happy opportunity to add to the ranks.  By joining this club, Janice has joined an extended family of service and fellowship of like minded individuals around the world.  There are many benefits to being a part of Rotary, but he reminded Janice that there are obligations as well, duties of attendance and service and a commitment to the 4 way test.  He extended his welcome and presented Janice with her regalia.

Janice offered her thanks for the welcome and expressed a willingness to work with the Club.  She said that her introduction to Rotary through her daughter, who had had a wonderful experience and who had grown and matured because of it, had been an education for her whole family and she looked forward to being part of the organization.
