4 Action Teams were formed and worked on the program from June 2002 to 2003. The teams were comprised of 50 volunteers that addressed the topics of healthcare, recreation, transportation and the youth skills database.

Data from the project was used by the Town of Midland to get the $2.4 million from SuperBuild.

There are now 58 community futures offices across Ontario.
