Neil reported that the well in Tblisi is producing drinkable water but that the Russians have closed the border and some parts have been held up.  They may have to go to the black market or wait - either way, costs may rise.  And we can't get matching grants on any other project until this one is finalized.

Janice reported that Student of the Month had started again.  Adventures in High Tech had a student in Ottawa as we met.  The process of selecting the next outbound student is started and interviews will be held this weekend.
The Short Term exchange interviews won't take place for a while.  This is a program where students go to a Southern Hemisphere country for the two months of our summer so as not to miss school.  Then the host family there sends their student here in our winter.  From South Africa to here in January.  Michelle Campbell went over the summer under the auspices of the Penetang Club.  She will tell us about her trip in a couple of weeks.
