Announcement from David Brown - 2 people are needed to fill 4 shifts on the Folk Festival roster. If you are interested please contact David.
The Port Fairy Folk Festival is on again from Friday 9 to Monday 12 March and once again our Club will be "ushering" in Tent 1.
Volunteers are required to do 2 x 5 hour shifts. As a volunteer you will also be given a wrist band which will allow you to attend the festival for the whole 4 days. There are still some good shifts left to be filled, as below. If you are interested in volunteering for this great event (you will also have fun), please let David Brown know on: david@swcredit.com.au.

Saturday 10 March:
9:30 - 2:30 pm (2 spots available)
7:30 pm to 12:30 am (2 spots available)
Sunday 1 March:
2:30 pm to 7:30 pm (1 spot available)
7:30 pm to 12:30 am (3 spots available)
Remember if you wish to volunteer, the Folkie Organisers require that you do 2 shifts.

Didn't sell much but we had a good night with a lot of people helping out. Last year $600 + but this year only $366.85

CFA BBQ - Sunday Feb 25th.
Got it mostly under control. Thank you to all those who have put their name down. Anyone who can be there we will start at 9:30am. Food prep and set up. Everything needs to be ready to go by 11:00am to feed 800 hungry little bodies. Please check the roster sent out by Tony. If you aren't on the roster and can help out please catch up with Tony via email/phone.

Barefoot bowls - Tuesday Feb 27th, Sign up sheet on the table to be filled in. Please put your name and any other friends/family you would like to bring along. Need an accurate number of participants by next week. It will be inflexible with the numbers. Usual $22 with bowls thrown in. Ring Judy (0429672446) if not at the meeting to put your name down. Sign up sheet will be at the meeting next week.

Prize from last years dinner auction. Mal Prices' Game (everything hunted down and caught by Mal) dinner. We had 8 people as we took along 6 friends. A great night where we could enjoy each other’s company and I didn't have to cook. We started out at Jubilee park on Mal's boat eating yabby pate and drinking champagne. Then to Mal's place where weee enjoyed duck, crayfish, prawns and venison, squid and fried ice cream. Fantastic night. Get ready for a bidding battle at next our next dinner auction.
