Super Spring Clean Up

For the past 15 years, the Rotary Club of Bridgenorth Ennismore Lakefield has worked to “spring clean” road sides and parks in our community. On Saturday April 26th, the BEL Club joined the Rotary Clubs of Peterborough and Peterborough Kawartha in the Super Spring Clean-up.
Members of the BEL Club were joined by community members to clean up our park, Township of Selwyn road sides and the Bridgenorth Lakefield Trail. In all fiftenn bags of garbage and recyclable material was collected, the hedges trimmed and the gardens weeded. BEL Rotary is proud of their commitement to the environment. As stewards of the Bridgenorth Trail, Rotarians take a serious interest in keeping it free of garbage and well groomed. "It is used by many community members and we want it to be enjoyable", says Rotarian Ruth Kuchinad. The park is also used by many in the community for fishing, picnicing and relaxing by the lake.
Today we clean the roads and parks; tomorrow we clean the Air, Rivers and Sea.
