About the Recognition

Rotary's highest honour for service to others

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is named for Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International. It's awarded to individuals — Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike — whose contributions to their community, vocation, or the world embody Rotary's values.

Nominees don't need to be Rotary members. Priority is given to those who haven't previously received a Paul Harris Fellow recognition, and each nominee may only receive it once. The BEL Rotary selection committee reviews every nomination and determines the most fitting category.
