Rotary Park is home to fishing tournaments, family gatherings, church services and
of course the polar plunge!
On August 1th Rotarians, family and friends got together to repair the dock,
repair and stain the gazebo and clean up the park.
For more than 30 years the Rotary Club of Bridgenorth Ennismore Lakefield has continued to develop and maintain Rotary Park, located at the west end of the James Gifford Causeway in Ennismore.  The park, most commonly known as the “home of the polar plunge” is enjoyed year round. During the summer months the park is home to families enjoying a picnic, people fishing and those relaxing and enjoying a quiet moment or sunset on the lake.  The boat ramp is well used by anglers out for a day of fishing and also during the Pro Bass tournaments held throughout the summer.  The gazebo provides the perfect back drop for wedding pictures and shelter for family gatherings.

On August 14th, the BEL Club hosted a work party.  Members, friends and family repaired, sanded and stained the gazebo, replaced the decking on the dock and cleaned up the park.
