The BEL Rotary Club is delighted to welcome Scott and Heather Negrych to the BEL Rotary family.  Scott and Heather are no strangers to Rotary and bring with them years of Rotary experience, enthusiasm and a commitment to youth and the community.  Heather and Scott relocated to Peterborough from Elliott Lake and this is certainly our gain.
Heather joined the Rotary Club of Elliot Lake in August 2010 and served in many capacities including president.  She also served on the District 7010 Youth Exchange committee and is a member of the Rotary Quilters and Fiber Artists Fellowship.

Heather is a third-generation Rotarian. Her father Dr. Robert Ferguson is still a member of the Rotary Club of Elliot Lake (almost 52 years)!

Heather works as the Financial Officer for the Schools of Health & Wellness and Justice & Community Development at Fleming College.

Scott joined the Rotary Club of Elliot Lake in June 2000. He has also served in many capacities including President and chaired the District 7010 Youth Exchange committee for several years.  Scott is a member of the Rotary Beer Fellowship.

Scott started with Savage Arms in May 2020 as a General Machine Operator and has been promoted to a Production Supervisor.   He spent many years in Information Technology at the hospital in Elliot Lake, and is enjoying this change of vocation, although he will likely be called on by the club for his expertise and technical skills!

Heather and Scott recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They have two sons, Quinn 22, who just graduated from Algoma University with a Bachelor of Computer Science, and Matthew 20, who will be entering his third year at the University of Ottawa pursuing a degree in History and Political Science.
Scott and Heather, welcome to BEL Rotary.
