Adeline Comery Helps Rotarians at the Super Spring Clean Up

One of the goals of Rotary is to make our world a better, “cleaner” place.  “The environment is a priority and while we work around the world bringing clean water and sanitation to developing countries, we also work locally to “clean-up” our community” said BEL Rotary President Tony Davidson.  On Saturday April 22nd, the BEL Rotary Club supported by family, friends and community members, joined the other local Rotary Clubs in the Super Spring Clean-up.

Participants joined forces and cleaned up Rotary Park, Township of Selwyn road sides and the Bridgenorth Rotary Trail.  Bags of garbage and recycling were collected and pick up included tires, old signs and of course discarded fast food containers!  The group also cleaned out the gardens and trimmed shrubs in Rotary Park, in preparation for the summer planting.  Thank you to everyone who joined us to make a difference in our community!
