Park Clean Up, Oct. 7, 2013

Our semi annual clean up was met with wind and rain but it didn't dampen our spirits!

 
Despite the wind and rain, members and friends of the BEL club met on October 7th to "spruce up" Rotary Park.  In addition to maintaining the gardens and pruning the shrubs and hedges, several bags of garbage and recyclable material were also picked up.  The flag poles have been taken down and repainted, and thanks to the generosity of Shaun Milne the cost was limited.  As soon as there is a dry day, Bob Ash will be looking for volunteers to stain the gazebo.
