As part of the Shamrock Festival weekend, BEL Rotarians worked with "little carpenters” to build bird houses. The delight on the children's faces when they saw their creation said it all. Not only did they have fun and complete a project they could be proud of, they created something that will be beneficial to the environment, one of Rotary's areas of focus. And what is better than building a bird house? Free ice cream of course. Thanks to Central Smith Creamery and BEL Rotary, free ice cream sundaes were provided to “big and little” kids alike, who attended the weekend festival.
