It was a beautiful night of fellowship, food and laughter as BEL Rotary celebrated the  2021 - 22 Rotary year and looked ahead to 2022 -23.
Past President Wilf Gray thanked the club for a great year and passed the gavel to incoming President Susan Davidson.  President Susan recognized Wilf for his commitment to Rotary and leading during challenging times.  Despite the continuation of covid the club continued to serve the community.

President Susan addressed the club.  “I am looking forward to a successful year.  We are a small club that accomplishes big things.  Our success is a team effort, and our families and friends working with our members dedicated members make this success possible. Thank you.” said Davidson.

“We will continue to serve the community and increase our impact.  Food sustainability, the environment, support for seniors and our seasonal Adopt a Family are areas we will be focussing on.  As opportunities open up we are also planning to participate in programs for youth including Adventure in Understanding and Rotary Youth Leadership programs.  The club will also continue the world-wide fight against polio and support of the work they participated in, in Nepal following the earthquake.
