One of the true honours of being a Rotarian is to induct new members into our club.  Tonight we had the honour of inducting three new members, Kasandra Bath, Trevor Copeland and Stan Hampton.

Kasandra was introduced by Rotarian Girv.  Kasandra grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Sunderland in Brock Township.  She has volunteered for many years including working at summer camps and community festivals and being the lead stage manager for the North Durham’s Relay for Life in Sunderland.  Kasandra graduated from Trent University with a degree in Environmental Studies.  She is currently working for the MNR at the Peterborough main office.  ADG Lynne presented Kasandra with her Rotary pin, the emblem of our organization.

Trevor was also introduced by Rotarian Girv.  Trevor grew up in Cannigton.  He learned the meaning of hard work through a long list of summer part and full time jobs.  He graduated from the University of Windsor with an Engineering degree and currently works for Cambrium Environmental in Peterborough.  He is an avid skiier and active volunteer with the Canadian Ski Patrol.  ADG Lynne presented Trevor with his Rotary pin, the emblem of our organization.

Stan was introduced by Rotarian David Rook Green.  Stan grew up in Lakefield and moved to Toronto for work.  He returned to Lakefield and worked in the construction industry.  He has been active in his church and volunteered for many organizations.  He was married to a wonderful woman, Marie for many years and unfortunately she passed away.  David has known Stan for more than 40 years!  Stan is looking forward to extending his volunteerism to the BEL Club.  ADG Lynne presented Stan with his Rotary pin, the emblem of our organization.

Congratulations to Kasandra, Trevor and Stan.  We are proud you have become part of the BEL Rotary family and look forward to working with you in service above self.
