Since 1962 when the first recorded Jeep Ride (they were real Jeeps at that time!) rendezvoused for dinner in Round Valley, this tradition has been a highlight of our club and the celebration of colors in the canyons!  We anticipate this year to be no different!  This year’s ride will be this Thursday, September 20, 2018
We will meet in Smithfield, at the South end of Lee’s Marketplace parking lot, just East of USU Credit Union, at 12:30 pm.  The route will take us up Cub River Canyon, onto the Franklin Basin Road, the Danish Dugway, Egan Basin Road, coming out Beaver Creek just below Beaver Mt Ski Area.  We are currently in discussion with the State of Utah to have a representative of the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration present to explain the current logging taking place and the benefits to tax payers.

Members and guests are all invited to join in this afternoon soiree that will culminate in the evening with dessert, hot and cold drinks, and reminiscing of times past in the Common Ground building at Beaver Mt,

This of course after dining upon some ribs, shrimp, crudites, and other delightful munchies.  (after eating all afternoon, no dinner will be served)
  • Water, soft drinks, and beer will be available along the route.
  • You are encouraged to BYOC, Bring Your Own Chair, as seating may be non-existent!
  • There will be no charge for Rotarians, and the guest charge will be $15.
