Vimy Oaks Legacy Corporation (VOL) is a not for profit group of volunteers promoting the legacy of Canadians who fought in the Great War through the planting of Vimy Oaks trees descended from acorns gathered by a Canadian soldier after the Vimy Ridge battle. The VOL is partnering with The Vimy Foundation in the landscaping and planting of a Centennial Park near the Canadian Vimy Memorial in France. In Canada, The Vimy Oaks Legacy is partnering with NVK Nurseries offering Vimy Oaks descendant trees for sale at cost for planting at commemorative sites across Canada.
