Anne Smith - The Lighthouse for Grieving Children

Lighthouse for Grieving Children is an Oakville based charity offering free peer to peer grief support for children and teens whose parent or sibling has died. It is the only organization of its kind in the GTA.

Anne joined Lighthouse in 2021 as the Director of Development and within the year moved into the role of Executive Director. She has 20+ years of varied and progressive fundraising experience as well as experience in community development work. In her previous role with a local funder, she got to know about the great work of the Lighthouse for Grieving Children, and the impact they have made in the lives of children and youth.
