| Larry | Attendance – We have 17 members in attendance plus two guests (including the speaker) Introduce Guests – Introduced Riona Naidu as a potential new member, who has now had two coffee chats and is now attending her second meeting; she has also completed her application form, which will be circulated in the next few days. |
Rod Judy Jean Dana Judy | Any announcements? For future Zoom meetings, we should set up with a password and use the waiting room function to allow entry. We do not want to be Zoom-blasted. The Speakers committee met on Saturday. The Speakers Series event will be cancelled. The cancellation message has been prepared and will be sent out to the club. Great job done by all the committee and all participants, but COVID-19 intervened. We are holding onto Beverley McLachlin and will re-schedule this event, hopefully in the fall. |
Judy Rod | I have set up my sewing machine. I am part of a group, Canada Sews, that is sewing personal protective equipment (PPE gear) for hospital staff. Canada Sews has established central places to drop off finished materials. If anyone has materials/fabrics to donate, please let me know. Kerr Street Mission has dropped off food for 17 Stewart Street seniors; Melanie is dropping off Easter flowers and craft supplies for them as well. Announcements:
