Frances Pace of The Oakville Community Foundation/and Halton Granters Roundtable 

At the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, Frances set up an ad hoc committee of the Halton Granters Round Table to bring together various community partners to focus on supporting local charities that had been adversely impacted by the shutdowns. Participants included Halton Region, the United Way, Maycourt and the three Rotary Clubs in Oakville. Her committee was able to identify the areas of concern and then coordinate the donations to ensure that they were focused on the areas of greatest need. Our club participated in the committee and was able to help and provided funds to a number of the charities impacted. Frances will give us an update on what the Halton Granters Round Table has been doing recently.
