Julia Pietrangelo from the Darling Home for Kids

Oure speaker for this dinner event is Julia Pietrangelo of the Darling Home for Kids.  Her presentation will highlight the core programs and services, the population they serve and the impact of Rotary Club of Oakville’s support had over the past year.

With over seven years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Julia Pietrangelo has a deep passion for healthcare, children and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She currently serves as the Senior Development Officer at The Darling Home for Kids, where she is responsible for raising essential funds to ensure the Home continues to support the children and families who rely on its services. Julia’s career includes work in both the charitable sector and at a private family foundation. 

The Darling Home for Kids is Canada’s only pediatric organization dedicated to providing respite, residential, and hospice palliative care for medically complex children and their families. At the core of everything the do, is a simple yet profound vision: a world where no child is too complex to receive the love, care, and support they need

We recently donated $15,000 towards a new medication station for their expansion. We also donated $8,000 the previous year for equipment to help digitize their medical records.
