BEING THERE ~ Water for Haiti

Year in, year out, the suffering people of Haiti are blessed by the devotion of a remarkable Bellaire Rotarian - Surpris Cherazard - who works tirelessly to improve their situation. Surpris has just returned from a successful April visit to the island, concluding the latest water purification project at ASEBED hospital Morne-Rouge in Cap-Haitian, Haiti. Rotary partnered with John Hovas and Living Waters of the World Houston to bring the gift of clean water to the people. We join Surpris on his latest trip through the photos below. Clean water is one of Rotary's six areas of worldwide focus.
