Ellen Israel Goldberg has a broad background in business, healthcare, education, photojournalism, and creative endeavors—a good foundation for global projects in both professional and volunteer capacities. She is passionate about connecting multi-ethnic groups for mutual understanding and has the keen ability to bring people together to build bridges for peace.

Ms. Goldberg is a Emeritus Board Member for Sister Cities of Houston. Sister Cities of Houston is a volunteer-based program that works with the City of Houston to further the sister city relationships. Sister City relationships are official relationships established through formal agreements by the respective municipal governments. Volunteers develop and implement programs and activities that connect the cities on mutually beneficial matters.
