ECO-FORUMS:
Where Green & Blue Ideas Become Action

The climate conversation is moving fast, and nobody solves it alone.

Our eco-forums bring together the people actually doing the work — industry practitioners, scientists, company founders, students, and everyday citizens who refuse to wait for permission to act — in rooms built for candour rather than applause.

THIS SEASON

We are putting subject matter experts and real researchers on the stage: Kel Sanson (SEEC) opening on 15 October 2026 with a talk on dirt — and why "surely a little dirt can't hurt" deserves a harder look — followed by Savindi Caldera (UniSC) on 19 November 2026, making sustainability work for business and people.

NEXT SEASON

Into 2027, Caitlin Minney (BOM) unpacks a major climate driver, El Niño, on 18 February, and Marina Richardson (Griffith Uni) dives into tropical oyster reefs on 18 March. Alison Duguid unlocks seaweed farming in regional North Australia on 15 April, and we close on 20 May 2027 with a double bill from Bond University: Daryl McPhee on the secret life of sharks, and Hunter Wortmann on the ocean's giants, the orcas.

Whether you join us onsite, where the hallway conversations often outlast the scheduled sessions, or online, where distance costs you nothing and reaching a speaker costs you a question, you get the same thing: real science, honest trade-offs, and connections that survive past the closing talk.

Come for the presentations. Stay for the people.

This isn't another series that ends when the lights go down — it's a working network for anyone who believes the planet's future is a design problem we can still solve, together.
