Now Accepting Applications for both RYLA and Rotary Adventure in Citizenship

RYLA: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive training program that brings together youth and young adults, to further develop character and leadership skills and learn about Rotary. This is a week-long annual event. Complete the registration form and email it to Rotary Club’s New Generations Director, Marg Hayes. The Application deadline is March 1st. 

 

Adventure in Citizenship: This annual event provides a unique opportunity for a selected group of young Canadians to come together and gain a better understanding of our country, through meetings with political leaders, senior officials and others. The Application deadline is February 13th. The Application should be sent to Marg Hayes, in form of a letter detailing: 
1. Current Grade
2. Grade Average
3. Extra Curricular activities in and outside school
4. Career Ambitions
5. Short essay of up to 250 words describing what it means to be a Canadian Citizen; especially with this being 150th Anniversary for Canada (30-90 second video is also acceptable).
