President Jennifer and Nick will then join us in White Rock for a big public celebration.  The public is invited to join us starting at 9:30 in the area right next to the famous White Rock Pier.  We'll have a large stage and several bands to entertain the crowds.  Rotarians and partner organizations, such as Days for Girls, REC for Kids, Rotary World Help, North Delta Starfish Program, will have tents and displays.  We will also have some official Rotary tour gear available for purchase from Creative Embroidery

President Jennifer is expected to arrive around 10:30 at which time the formal part of the program will begin.  White Rock Mayor and Rotarian, Darryl Walker, will bring official greetings.  Afterwards, Jennifer will visit the displays and have a meet and greet with those attending.

White Rock is family friendly, with food trucks and restaurants nearby as you enjoy the day and several bands.

Around noon, President Jennifer will lead us in our service project - a beach clean up with Ocean Wise Conservation Society.

The White Rock beach clean up and celebration will continue until 2:00, but President Jennifer will be leaving at 12:30 to visit the Aboriginal Mother's Centre in Vancouver, where Write to Read has recently installed a Learning Centre.  Write To Read has installed computer labs and libraries throughout BC and was created by Rotarian Bob Blacker and former BC Lieutenant Governor (and Rotarian) Steven Point.
