When I accepted the presidency a year ago, our club was facing an important transition. Together, we focused on rebuilding a stronger foundation while expanding our impact through my role as District 3650 Service Chair for Global and District Grants.
This year's achievements belong entirely to our Board and members. Together, we received the District Distinguished Club Award, Best Club for Membership Growth, Best Club for Service Projects, Best Club for Scholarship Foundation Contributions, and the 100% Attendance District Conference Award.
We strengthened fellowship through innovative programs, successfully implemented the Global Grant for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Family Center at Korea University Anam Hospital, supported WOW cochlear implant surgeries, continued monthly community service at Warm Hearted Center near Seoul Station, and provided scholarships to nine domestic and international students. We also welcomed four Japanese youth through the Osaka Rotaract Exchange Program and sponsored tree planting program with the Seoul Young Leaders Club and economic class by Ewha Rotaract to elementary students.
Most importantly, we confirmed that Seoul Rotary Club will host the official evening celebration of our 100th Anniversary on November 10, 2027, reaffirming our pride as Korea's historic Mother Club.
It is now my privilege to pass the gavel to President William Oh. I sincerely thank every member for your trust, dedication, and friendship throughout this unforgettable year.
Yours in Rotary,
