Ian Lance and Garry Baker dutifully spent their Father’s Day at Pretty Pine, entreating children with rides on the Rotary Train. It was a lovely warm, sunny day with a variety of entertainment for young and old. Ian and Garry can be seen standing next to their red, yellow and green train on a photo under the photo albums menu. |

Members of our club had fun during Saturday night’s rotating dinner called ‘Guess who is coming for dinner’. Entrées included lovely dishes such as pumpkin soup with herb and garlic bread. Various dishes were served at other Rotarian’s houses for main meals. One such a meal was called Bobotie and contained ingredients such as mince meat, sultanas, egg and bread served on yellow rice. Desserts were also varied. At one venue, a slice of mud cake was served with cream and strawberries. The evening concluded with tea and coffee with chocolates at the house of Steve and Denise.
The dinner participants would like to thank Hazel Ladson for making all the arrangements for this lovely evening.
