- Santa Claus Parade / Seasonal Parade, Saturday Nov 16: We have room for more floats (more win-win calls) AND we need more people to man / woman / Rotarian the parade route road blocks. Contact Jim Madder for more tuques etc.
- World Polio Day is Oct 24 – donate please: Polio is preventable but not curable. Please donate $25 this week (or more …) on line. Matching funds. Brenda Winter
- Remembrance Day Waverley Park Cenotaph Nov 11th. The public service usually begins 10:20 am. Join other members of our Club. Rod Morrison.
- Food Drive for the LU Student Food Bank Nov-Dec: Please bring a perishable food item at next 3 meetings, Nov 12, Nov 26 and Dec 10.
- Salvation Army Kettles Dec 7 and Dec 14: We know the drill, this time at a couple of LCBO locations. Let Bill Green know your availability.

- President Elect Nominations are open: Brent Boyko has been nominated. Other nominations can be made if desired, before next meeting. (Kevin Holloway)
- The Rotary Youth Exchange Student candidate is being interviewed. (John Stevenson)
- The 4 Way Test Essay Contest is rolling out with eligible Grade 11 and 12 students. (Brad Beaver)

- Plant-Forward Dinner Club starts mid-Nov: Talk to Marg about this new dinner club idea, which will meet every 6 weeks or so. Your “pot” will be from her recipes. Contact Marg Woods or Bob Tomlinson.
