Mark your calendar and get ready to tee off for a great cause!

The Rotary Club of San Marcos Golf Tournament will take place Monday, November 9, at Twin Oaks Golf Course. We’re looking forward to bringing together Rotarians, local businesses, community partners and friends for a fun day on the course — all while supporting young people and families in our community.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos, helping support the programs and services it provides to local youth.

We’re also grateful to North City, our Title Sponsor, for helping make this year’s tournament possible.

For members of the Rotary Club of San Marcos, service often starts early.

Each week, club volunteers head to Brother Benno’s in Oceanside to help serve a hot breakfast to neighbors in need. It’s a simple act — showing up, lending a hand and sharing a meal — but it reflects what Rotary is all about: building connections and strengthening our community through service.

Brother Benno’s serves individuals and families throughout North County who are experiencing homelessness or other challenges, providing meals, basic necessities and supportive services designed to help people move toward greater stability.

Our weekly breakfast crew is proud to be part of that work.

And it’s just one of the many ways San Marcos Rotarians give back throughout the year. From supporting local youth and families to volunteering with community organizations across North County, our members believe that service is one of the best ways to bring people together and make a meaningful difference.

San Marcos Rotarians were out in the community on Saturday, Sept. 9, volunteering at the San Marcos Boys & Girls Club’s Flapjacks for Backpacks event while also hosting the San Diego Blood Bank Bloodmobile right in the parking lot.

It was a great opportunity to support local students and families, encourage lifesaving blood donations and spend the morning alongside some terrific community partners.

We were also honored to receive a Certificate of Recognition from Assemblymember Darshana Patel recognizing our participation that day.

We’re grateful to everyone who volunteered, donated and helped make the morning such a success!
