On February 28, 2016 - 250 Rotarians gathered in D 7070 to recognize and pay tribute to the tireless efforts and generosity of PDG Bill Patchett and his wonderful wife Delphine.

RI Pres- elect John Germ brought special greetings from Rotary Foundation Chair, Past RI President Ray Klinginsmith to Bill and Delphine as PDG Brian Thompson presented PDG Bill with the Distinguished Service Award for his incredible contribution to his community and to Rotary. Bill and Delphine have led and supported many efforts in Cobourg and Southern Ontario to do good in their community and province. Within Rotary has served as District Governor, District Foundation Chair, an End Polio Champion and served on the board of The Rotary Foundation (Canada).

Always leading by example, PDG Bill with Delphine’s support have challenged Rotarians and community members to “give what they can” to make their community and the world beyond a better place. PDG Bill and Delphine have supported and/or lead campaigns for the United Way, Keystone Homes,  Cobourg Hospital, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and the Canadian Firefighters Museum to name just a few.

Congratulations PDG Bill - Well Deserved! Delphine thank you for supporting Bill in so many, many ways.  An absolutely wonderful and cherished Rotary couple who continue to make a difference locally and globally!
