FIELD TRIP...REARED IN STEEL
 

One of the more memorable field trips the Rotary Club of Petaluma had last summer was our visit to REARED IN STEEL on Washington St., in Petaluma. As you drive by the most fascinating creatures in ‘Reared In Steel’ rise above the fenced in area... a true wonderment! 

Once inside a tour of the facility by local artist Kevin Clark was all the more stimulating. Beside the unusual structures pictured below, our tour treated us to “things” that were being finalized for showing at Burning Man. 

Burning Man is an annual event in Black Rock City, Nev. (100 miles from Reno). Thousands of people attend dedicated to the community, art self expression and self reliance.
