This years Crab feed was held on Friday, February 22nd at the Veteran's Memorial Hall. It was a record breaking turnout of of over 550 people! Some of the many great things this annual event supports are:
Parks tree planting and restoration projects (austere City Parks budget)
Dictionaries for 3rd Graders, especially those w/o Internet access
Holiday clothing and other gifts to brighten up spirits of youth in need
Supporting our schools with grants, mentorships, scholarships and more
Eliminate/prevent/control spread of diseases & treatment, clean water
Projects abroad: build peace, reduce suffering, create sustainable jobs
Salvation Army kitchen and facilities refurbishment for homeless youth
PPSC Serenity Garden supporting CPS kids and Seniors in need
Miracle League, Petaluma field for Bay Area kids with special needs
Fire relief $5,000 grants, residents & small Biz w/o adequate insurance
