Automotive Cultures and Human Nature

Bob Hendry retired from General Motors Corporation in 2001 after 37 years of service as a Group Vice President. During his career he has worked and lived all over the world – USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Japan, Africa and other parts of Asia.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University. His major was in Organizational Development – a discipline which focuses on business through the eyes of human nature. His undergraduate degree was also in Business with minors in economics and theology as it was a Jesuit University.

He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan in a family of 6 in which he was the youngest. As his mother’s grandparents were immigrants to the US, many forms of English were spoken in his family.  Michael Caruana was a classmate of his from grade school through high school, both excelling in math. Our childhood friendship was renewed when we found we both lived now in California.

Bob’s presentation is entitled Perspectives – Automotive Cultures and Human Nature.
