The Story of DHARMA Trading Co

My father Isaac started Dharma Trading in 1969, in Berkeley, CA. His intention was simply to create a business that would make money and not require him to sacrifice his values. So, the first Dharma Trading Co. store was opened in July '69 on University Ave., just down from the UC campus. Since then, Dharma Trading Co. has grown to be an e-commerce business supporting a staff of 60-70 employees. And to this day, Dharma still operates on the principles Isaac began with.
