C.W. (Chuck) Nevius was a columnist and reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle for 37 years before his retirement. In 20 years as a sports columnist he covered eight Olympic Games and numerous Super Bowl, World Series and NBA championships. He became a city columnist in 2000, writing about City Hall, housing, homelessness and issues of interest in San Francisco. He now writes a once a week sports column for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. In November he had a five week run for his one-man show at The Marsh Theater in San Francisco. 
Married 33 years, he and his wife, Mary have two grown children. Delaney is an attorney and Will works with an SF venture capital firm.
