Leaving a Legacy -- What You Do Matters
Nov. 04, 2014
The first Covington Rotarian ever to lead District 6840, Brian Hall will facilitate a conversation on how you can leverage your membership in the Covington Rotary Club to leave a lasting legacy in our community and across the world. Bring a potential member and be prepared to be inspired to make the most out of your membership in Rotary. It's not just about being a member of a club -- it's about becoming a Rotarian in all of its greater meaning. It is Rotarians who were determined to eradicate polio, found the United Nations, establish Peace and Conflict Resolution Scholarships, promote international goodwill, peace, and better friendships. It was a Rotarian who created the Four Way Test as the standard for conducting business and personal relationships with ethics above all other considerations. It is through better friendships and an ever-expanding circle of friends that we become invested in improving the lives of those around us. Brian will share with us how Rotary is a platform for doing good and leaving a legacy. |
