What role can Foundations and Donors play in creating a Thriving Waukesha County?

Fred Gutierrez from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Kathryn Leverenz from the Waukesha Co. Community Foundation represent charter organizations for the Thriving Waukesha County Alliance.   As representatives of community foundations, they are trying to network and educate donors and organizations on the impact their gift can have to improve lives in Waukesha County and ways where donor behaviors can negatively affect local impact.    They will share recommendations their organizations have implemented in the review of funding proposals and steps their organizations are taking to assist local nonprofits to increase capacity, partner with other organizations and invest in critical infrastructure that will further the community impact of local nonprofits on the lives of Waukesha citizens.
