This year our campaign has hit the ground running. In preparation for what we hope will be the busiest tree planting year in the campaign's history our staff and volunteer leadership team have been meeting to secure funding and land for our Hero Trees and Service Trees along the Highway of Heroes and the surrounding communities........
By bringing together remembrance, community and environment, our campaign has appealed to a wide cross section of Canadians, locally and nationwide.
We look forward to reporting back on the exciting develops throughout 2019.

Canada Blooms March 8-17, 2019 - We Have Tickets
Last March, you may recall, the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign made quite a splash at the largest flower and garden festival in the country. Our message provided the theme for the grand entrance: a themed garden that took many awards, thanks to our sponsor-landscaper Joe Genovese of Genoscape Inc.
This year we are back, this time with something entirely different. We have partnered with the Vimy Foundation to present colourized versions of photographs taken of Canadian troops during the First World War. You may find some of the images familiar. For certain, you will enjoy seeing these century-old photos come to life in colour on full-sized, stand-up banners.
We have tickets to Canada Blooms, a $20 value, for our first 100 donors. When you donate a minimum of $40, we will send you a pair of tickets to ‘Blooms. Just be sure to tell us that you wish to have tickets by mentioning Canada Blooms in the Note/Message field on your order.
While we are not able to issue a tax receipt for the first $40 of your donation, as CRA prohibits this, all proceeds will go towards tree planting on the Highway of Heroes. There is another reason why you should check out ‘Blooms. To forget the tax season. Details at www.canadablooms.com
