2023-2024 Award Nominations
 
Rotarian of the Year (3 Rotarians):
This award will go to a three people who embody the values of a Rotarian in not only their club but also within their career and/or community during the 2023-2024 Rotary year. Hard work, a passion for growing Rotary, their leadership involvement within Rotary, and support for the foundation are just a few ideals these individuals showcase. These nominees must be an active member within a club in District 7210, showcase strong involvement at their club level in Rotary, and be involved at some level within their region or the district. All nominees must receive at least two letters of recommendation for this award.
This first award is given to a Rotarian who has been part of Rotary for at least 10 years and will be recognized as the District 7210 Rotarian of the Year Award.
Our second award will go to a Rotarian who has been active between 5-10 years and will be recognized as the District 7210 Rotarian of the Year award.
And our final award will be for the District 7210 Rotarian of the Year award to an individual who has been part of Rotary for 2-5 years.

New Rotarian of the Year (up to 3 Rotarians):

Our new members bring ideas, excitement, and a passion to our Rotary clubs. These individuals sometimes go all in, getting involved in leadership positions, committee roles, and coordinating projects within their first year. This award goes to a Rotarian who has join within the last three Rotary years and has made a significant difference within their club and/or region/ district. These nominees must be an active member within a club in District 7210, showcase strong involvement at their club level in Rotary and community, inducted into their Rotary club in the Rotary years of 2021-2022, 2022-2023, or 2023-2024. This award can be awarded up to 3 new members each year.

President of the Year (2 Rotarians):
Being president of a club can be one of the hardest but most rewarding volunteer positions a person might have. This award is to recognize an individual who goes above and beyond in the club and community to lead by example. Presidents have been known to light the fire that gets a club from struggling to becoming an overachieving community partner. This award goes to two individuals, one who was president of a club for more the 25 Rotarians and one for under 25 Rotarians. We will base this award off their roster submitted to Rotary international on July 1st, 2023. These nominees must be an active member within a club in District 7210, registered at the club president within Rotary Central, showcase strong involvement at their club and community level. All nominees must receive at least two letters of recommendation for this award.

Service Project of the Year
Our Service Project of the Year will go to a club that went above and beyond with service this past Rotary year. In recognition of putting others before themselves, this award will not only thank them for this dedication to our values as a Rotarian but also receive a donation to the foundation on their behalf. The service project of the year but focus on at least one of the areas of focus for Rotary, show the significant impact they made on the community, and have at least 60% of involvement from the club.

Fundraising Project of the Year
Our clubs support our foundation as well as local charities in their community on a weekly basis. This award will go to the top fundraising project of the year that not only raised a lot of money but also used those funds to make a significant difference in their community. The Fundraising Project of the Year will provide us with the legacy of this project (is this the first or 5th year of the project), how much money did they raise, what involvement was committed by the local club, and what the funds of this project will support.

Community Engagement Award (2 clubs):
This award will be given to no more than 2 clubs who exemplified the values of a Rotarian and went above and beyond this past year to make a difference in their community. Service, fundraising, and supporting local businesses are just part of the hard work our clubs do to make a difference within their community. A club who receives the community engagement award must provide details on the projects they held within their community and why they work made a difference.

Rotary Hall of Fame (up to 3 Rotarians):
This award is an honor that no more than 3 Rotarians a year can receive. Being part of the Rotary Hall of Fame, each recipient must be an active Rotarian within their club/ district, held at least one leadership position within their club, served at the region or district level in some capacity (serving in a leadership position or on a committee), showed a strong focus for membership growth, and represents the values of a Rotarian.
