Woodland PD Volunteer Program Coordinator

Woodland native Mini Garcia came back a year ago to head up the Woodland Police Department's existing volunteer program.  Come hear all about the achievements, improvements and future plans for this massively important group of 39 volunteers. She will share about WPD's ViP program and the changes we have implemented to expand and grow our program, as well as the various duties their volunteers have and their goal as they continue to develop and nurture the program.  She will also share about some of the efforts the department is doing to connect with and engage the community, in order to form partnerships and establish relationships. These include Coffee with a Cop, National Night Out, Crime Prevention presentations, Security Surveys, Vacation Home Checks, and Anti-Theft Dots.
