With President Miriam still convalescing, Deb Wotherspoon took the role of Acting President, while John Wotherspoon looked after the money! Richard Jarrett has again filed the President's column this week.
Last week's meeting
Unfortunately, our speaker for the morning failed to materialise, so we were treated to an encore performance from John Wotherspoon who gave us some further reflections on his recent trip to Iran. We also took the opportunity to have an unscheduled discussion about the venue for our meetings going forward. We decided that the next two meetings would be held at the Royal Coach Motel. Details below.

This week, our speaker is Peter Carey. Since 2014, Peter Carey has been the CEO of Youth Opportunities Association, a South Australian not-for-profit organisation that delivers Personal Leadership Training to young people to help them make positive choices for their future.
